As much as I love summer, I often find myself bored after a month of not being able to layer. Having had to deal with limited clothing options for a few months, I was stoked to feel the temperature drop here in LA. While it may still be too hot for a turtleneck, I simply can’t resist and force myself to cope.
For this look, I partnered with PRPS to showcase their awesome denim jeans. I have been a loyal PRPS customer since 2005, so was extremely excited to shoot some content for the brand. To give you some background, PRPS was established in 2002 and is considered to be the first brand to have brought Japanese luxury denim jeans to the United States. The company’s founder and designer Donwan Harrell constantly researches and selects premium Japanese denim for PRPS’s revolutionary washed jeans. The jeans are made from hand-picked Japanese cotton, making them extremely comfortable and durable. If you are unfamiliar with PRPS, please do yourself a favor and check them out here.
I decided to pair my PRPS denim jeans with my new suede jacket by TY-LR. I absolutely love the look and feel of this jacket, as it adds a bad-ass vibe to any style. I am also wearing one of my signature turtlenecks by Topman, as well as some timeless black Adidas sneakers.
To finish the look, I am wearing the 40mm Classic Sheffield watch from Daniel Wellington’s new Classic Black collection. While I love the original white face, the all-black version is too posh to resist. I have both the gold and silver version, so am set for any outfit. Check out the new Classic Black Collection for yourself and use code WILLEM16 to get 15% off your entire purchase!
